Resolved Question: Is there something I can do to fix videos on my computer?

I cant watch videos on my computer through any source (youtube etc). They play but throughout the entire clip it will play for a few seconds then pause and start back up etc. What can I do to fix that? Hope this makes sense Thanks everyone. I have checked everything you have all suggested with no luck. I installed shockwave and thought it helped but it didnt. I have internet through the satellite.
